We have an exciting new challenge featuring the revered Baco trails for the month of May. Our youngest Committee member Lachlan Warren has designated a course in the Walmer State Forest that will become the focus of an online riding challenge during May. The course incorporates some of the great features of the Baco trails and should take around one and a half hours to ride.
Riders can attempt the course multiple times over the month of May to fine tune their riding line and improve their times. At the completion of each ride you will be able to upload your time via Strava with a leaderboard being developed as the month progresses. At the end of the month there will be some prizes awarded in various categories along with some random finishing positions.
The course profile is now up on Strava – 16.5kms with 382 metres of elevation. What time will you be targetting? You can start practising now, but only times recorded during the month of May will count.
