One of Castlemaine’s better known locations (often referred to as the Baco trails), there is heaps of fast flowing single trail in an open woodland forest, with the odd technical feature thrown in for good measure. This venue is used for our summer Dirt Crits series and for special events like the Interwinter Cloverleaf. Best bet is to hook up on a club ride, or find a local guide.

A formal trailhead area has been established in conjunction with the Department (DEECA) and Dja Dja Warrung Enterprises. The trailhead has a shelter, gas barbecues, signage and toilets. All trails in the local state Forests are open and riding well.
