Mount Alexander Shire is developing a new ten year Active Transport Strategy that will cover key issues re cycling and walking facilities in the shire. The community engagement process is now underway with a number of drop in sessions happening across the shire starting this week.
There is also an online survey where you can provide feedback on the benefits of cycling, identify issues that need attention and suggest actions to make cycling safer, more enjoyable and more widely accessible.
Even if you don’t have specific ideas for improvement please complete the survey (should take 5-10 minutes) to provide Council with an indication of the amount of cycling activity that currently takes place within the Shire.
