First Rocky Riders Social Ride for 2026: The Pineys South East
When: Sunday Feb 15th, 8:15 am for 8:30 am pedal off
Meet where: Wesley Hill Market
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced
Cardio: Substantial
The first ride for the year will be a hurt fest in the Pineys. We’ll start from the Wesley Hill Market, and explore the south east area of the Pineys. Features will include the Garfield Water Wheel, Puddling Works, Dirty Dicks, Mine Camp track, and into the Pineys proper.
We’ll be out for 2 hours, so make sure you have plenty of water and snacks.
All riders need to have a well maintained/working mountain bike, helmet, spares, food and water.
Children aged 16 years or under are more than welcome on our rides, and need to be accompanied by an adult. And as with any rider, please ensure that the rider is well matched to the ride. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the club: info@rockyriders.com
Riders need to have cycling insurance, which can be through either AusCycling or Bicycle Network. Select Castlemaine Rocky riders as your club: this will register you as an instant member of the Castlemaine Rocky Riders.
