Uphill or Downhill? Uphill for sure … except for the rock with my chin imprint at the top of trail 2.
Most epic day on a bike? Riding Derby…the epic part was getting the 5 kids, 7 bikes and the camper trailer there! The riding was the easy part.
I’m currently riding … Paula Ewing’s old Giant Anthem (finally getting to claim it as my own after sharing it with the 2 oldest kids … for a short while until Sammy outgrows her bike)
Favourite trails (other than Castlemaine) – I enjoyed not having to ride over rocks at Forrest and loved ‘Flowtown’ at Falls Creek
If I wasn’t mountain biking I’d be … running (and a lot richer).
One day I’ll ride … I’m open to riding anywhere, Canada sounds like a good start.
When I head out for a ride I never leave without … a kid or two.
My race highlight? Not much racing to date though managed to pull off a win at the winter series last year in the E (Elite!) category.
What is in your backpack? It’s embarrassingly basic – water, phone and occasionally lollies. Been meaning to make improvements on this as a couple of band-aids would have been helpful the other day!
