Applefest Sat 10 March

On ya bike!! This year’s Applefest will feature a parade of bikes of all shapes and sizes leading the traditional Applefest street parade through central Harcourt.

Cyclists can then join a mass ride out to the brand spanking new Harcourt Mountain Bike Park, an easy 2 kms along a purpose built track. At the mountain bike park – officially named La Larr Ba Gauwa (“stones and mountains” in the local indigenous language) you can see for yourself the great infrastructure and fantastic new trails which have been constructed. Come and be one of the first to enjoy this great local asset. Tackle a few of the trails before heading back into the Applefest.

There’ll be an info stall and display about La Larr Ba Gauwa at the Applefest, along with members of the new Committee of Management responsible for the operations of the Park.

Meet Paddy Toasty (aka Patrick O’Sullivan) on Saturday morning to join the big bike ride. Riders of all ages and abilities are invited to join in the parade and the mass ride. Meet up in Wright Street, opposite the ANA Hall, in Harcourt at 11.30am with a mass departure scheduled for 11.50am.

Enquiries about the ride to Paddy on 0408 841 218.
