nUphill or Downhill? – Uphill on the rigid single speed, and down on the Dually
nMost epic day on a bike? I won’t call it epic but spending a few days exploring trails around Adelaide. On the trails near Lynton I joined up with a group of local riders who showed me some great downhill runs near the suburbs. Afterwards we all had some beers in the town park.
nI’m currently riding … After riding the recent Dirt Crits on my single speed, I am going back to the Giant Trance for a while

One day I’ll ride … a mountain biking holiday driving from trailhead to trailhead from Texas, through Colorado and into Utah (planned for when long service leave comes through)

My race highlight … riding the recent Wombat Classic 50km race on my rigid single speed. After a flat tyre I caught up to the field, blew through my energy reserves and tried to hold back the nausea for the last 10km. As another rider put it “…in the last 10k’s or so I wouldn’t go further than 500m before I came across someone on the side of the track licking the trees in agony with cramps.’
