DESCRIPTION:The Annual General Meeting of the Castlemaine Rocky Riders will be held on Saturday 26 October commencing at 4pm.  We are planning to conduct the meeting in person at the new Walmer Forest Trailhead\, off Daltons Road\, Castlemaine.\n\nAlong with the formal business of the AGM\, including the election of office bearers\, there will be an opportunity for members\, families and friends of the Rocky Riders to enjoy a relaxed and sociable afternoon/evening.  Drinks and nibbles will be supplied by the club with soft drinks for children.  Mark the date in your diary\, bring the family\, and join us at our defacto HQ for a general catch up.  BYO chair and glassware (if required) … plus any ideas and input you have for the club’s activities and plans for 2025.\n\n\n\nWe are looking to fill the following positions:\n\n \n\n 	General Committee members\n \n 	Vice President (Executive Committee)\n \n 	Secretary (Executive Commitee)\n \n 	Child Safety Contact\n \n 	Women’s Social Event Portfolio\n \n 	Merchandise & Club Shop

SUMMARY:October Social Ride - Walmer Forest
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly social ride will be held on Saturday 26 October to precede our Club AGM and will feature the best bits of the Baco trails.  The ride will commence at 2pm. \nThe layout of the Baco trails should enable us to cater for both beginner and intermediate level riders.  The focus will be on more flowy terrain\, with fewer technical sections. We will ride for around two hours so a reasonable level of fitness will be required. \nThe ride will commence at 2pm at the Walmer Forest Trailhead. There is plenty of parking\, toilets and barbecues on site. The Annual General Meeting will be conducted at the conclusion of the ride at 4pm. Refreshments will be provided for those attending the AGM.\nMap reference (type into Google Maps): X56W+GF\, Muckleford VIC 3451 \nAll riders must be self-sufficient with food\, water and spares.  A well maintained/working mountain bike and helmet which meets Australian standards are required. \nIn order for us to manage riders to ride leader ratios please register through the AusCycling events portal. \nPlease note: AusCycling membership is REQUIRED to cover you for insurance.  AusCycling has 4 week free trial memberships and monthly lifestyle memberships as options.  Anyone coming to social rides without active membership will have to sign up on the day to one of the AusCycling membership options described above (or full membership) https://rockyriders.com/membership/
