DESCRIPTION:In preparation for our annual bike packing adventure (planned for October)\, Ross will be once again hosting a bike packing information night at the Taproom on September 15th.  Ross will bring some of his own gear to show\, and will be on hand to advise and chat about how to prepare and be ready for an overnight bike packing adventure.   More details to come – watch this space.

SUMMARY:October Social Ride - Walmer Forest
DESCRIPTION:Once again we will combine our October club social ride with our Club AGM. This will be held on Saturday 10 October to precede our AGM and will feature the best bits of the Baco trails.  The ride will commence at 11am. \nThe layout of the Baco trails should enable us to cater for both beginner and intermediate level riders.  The focus will be on more flowy terrain\, with fewer technical sections. We will ride for around two hours so a reasonable level of fitness will be required. \nThe ride will commence at 2pm at the Walmer Forest Trailhead. There is plenty of parking\, toilets and barbecues on site. The Annual General Meeting will be conducted at the conclusion of the ride at 4pm. Refreshments will be provided for those attending the AGM.\nMap reference (type into Google Maps): X56W+GF\, Muckleford VIC 3451 \nAll riders must be self-sufficient with food\, water and spares.  A well maintained/working mountain bike and helmet which meets Australian standards are required. \nWe will finish at the trailhead for the AGM\, and a BBQ lunch!

SUMMARY:Club AGM and BBQ
DESCRIPTION:The Annual General Meeting of the Castlemaine Rocky Riders will be held on Saturday 10 October commencing at 1pm.  We are planning to conduct the meeting in person at the new Walmer Forest Trailhead\, off Daltons Road\, Castlemaine.
